Adult Basic Education (ABE)

ABE classes are free for people who wish to improve their basic skills in reading, writing, and math. To attend you must be sixteen or older and not enrolled in high school. Adults of all ages are welcome.

ABE CLASSES

• Find an ABE program near you by using the NH map.
• Contact your local program to find out when classes meet and how to register.
• Students come to ABE with different goals—learning to read to a child, improving math skills for a job, beginning to prepare for the GED test.
• You may attend ABE classes for as long as you need to meet your goals.
