Educator Portal · NH Initiatives · Thinking Mathematically Newsletters

Ruth Estabrook, the author of Thinking Mathematically, who now lives in the African nation of Burkina Faso, is a New Hampshire adult education “mentor emeritus” with years of experience. Ruth worked as a math teacher for Exeter Adult Education for many years and presented a number of popular staff development math workshops. When she left New Hampshire to join her husband in his new Peace Corps position, she decided to continue her relationship with New Hampshire Adult Education by developing a series of math newsletters.

Ruth’s newsletters give math tips and activities that will be useful for ABE and GED teachers and maybe even useful for some diploma math classes.
