- PREPARATION FOR
THE GED TESTS
Courses are not a requirement, but
preparation is recommended. Information about
Adult Basic Education classes can be obtained from
the Bureau of Adult Education, Division of Adult
Learning and Rehabilitation, 21 South Fruit Street,
Suite 20, Concord, NH 03301, telephone (603)271-6698,
or from your local testing center.
The Bureau of Adult Education maintains a list of
GED preparation classes. Contact the local program
nearest you to find out details about classes and
how to register. See Map
If you do not find a GED preparation class near
you, you may be able to get assistance from an Adult
Learner Services Program. Contact the program nearest
to you and talk with the coordinator about getting
a volunteer tutor.
Textbooks on GED preparation are available in public
libraries and bookstores.
The American
Council on Education also provides information
on GED testing.

learning modules and internet activities. Practice
tests with answers and explanations are available

Site offers reference charts, graphs and maps. Correct
answers are given and explained. A simple registration
is required.
