Job Description
The Lebanon School District is seeking for candidate to service as the Counselor of the Adult Education Literacy Service Program. This is a part-time position, requiring at least 7 hours a week based on student availability during the day or evenings. The perfect candidate will have prior experience counseling and will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or related areas. The counselor will positively interact and build trusting relationships with students and community organizations, create a welcoming and empathetic learning environment for our diverse student population, resolve barriers to student attendance, provide referrals to community and transition services, provide career counseling, and administer registration & assessments of students as needed.
Requirements:
– 7 hours per week and/or as needed
– About 40 weeks per year
Pay:
– $30.00 per hour based on grant funding
